My other Computers

I got a 2006 IBM Thinkpad R51, with a Intel Pentium M @ 1.5GHz with 2 GB of RAM and a ATI Mobile Radeon 7500 that I managed to get at a Flohmarkt (bootsale) for 20€. Works nicely, after I changed the CMOS battery and replaced the HDD with a SATA to mobile 2.5" IDE adapter.

Now its running Windows XP for me, so I can revel in old games from the era.

Then there is an old 286 luggable computer, with a plasma screen. All I know about it is that its a LT3500 of some company in Europe. I got it decades ago from my father, when he brought it home from work, as his workplace had stopped using them and rather than throwing it in the bin, he got it for me.

Obviously I also got a normal laptop, a modern HP laptop with an Intel N100 that I managed to snipe for a hundred bucks a few years ago. My understanding is that it was a display model and that was the reason I managed to get it cheaply.

Remember kids, if you are sitting in Germany, always use geizhals to get a good deal.
